Policies & Guidelines
Accessing & Downloading Your Gallery
Your final images will be delivered via a private Google Drive link for easy downloading and sharing. Please keep the following in mind:
30-Day Download Window: You’ll have at least 30 days from the time your gallery is delivered to download and save your images.
Storage Cleanup: After that, the gallery may be removed from Google Drive to help keep things organized and make room for other sessions.
Backups Are Safe: Don’t worry — I always keep a backup of your photos in my secure iCloud storage, so they’re not lost!
Need More Time? If you miss the 30-day window, just reach out. I’m happy to re-upload your gallery when possible. A small reactivation fee ($25) may apply for older sessions.
I always recommend downloading your photos as soon as possible and saving them in multiple places (like a USB drive or cloud service) so your memories are safe for years to come!
Cancellation & Rescheduling
I understand that life happens — plans change, and sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule. This policy is designed to protect both your time and mine, ensuring fairness and clarity for everyone involved.
Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit (50% of your total session fee) is required to secure your date and time. This deposit reserves your session and compensates for other booking opportunities lost.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your session:
More than 30 days before your session:
Deposit is non-refundable.
No further payment is required.
Less than 72 hours before your session:
Remainder of session fee is due.
This includes no-shows or last-minute cancellations.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without a fee if you give at least 72 hours’ notice. After that, it will be treated as a cancellation.
If I Need to Cancel
In the rare event I must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances:
I will reschedule for a later agreed upon time. If not, I will do my best to help connect you with a trusted colleague if you're open to a referral, and you will receive a full refund, including your deposit from me.
Labor & Delivery Policies
Welcoming a baby into the world is one of life’s most meaningful moments, and I am honored to capture it. Because birth is unpredictable, I have a few policies in place to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Booking & Deposit
To reserve your spot on my calendar, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at booking. This secures my on-call availability around your due date.
Final Payment
The remaining balance is due by 37 weeks. Once paid, I officially go on-call for you 24/7 until your baby arrives.
On-Call Period
From 37–42 weeks, I will be on-call and ready to head to your place of birth once labor begins. Please notify me as soon as possible when labor starts. A 2–3 hour notice is requested whenever possible. As far as the process, I will aim to arrive in your birth space near the transition phase of labor (approximately 6-7cm dilated). This gives me the most assurance that I will not miss the delivery, but that you are still far enough along in your labor that I’m not hanging around through periods of little activity or when you are trying to rest.
Number of Bookings
To give each family the attention they deserve, I only accept a limited number of labor & delivery clients each month. This ensures I can provide full coverage even with early or late arrivals.
In the Unlikely Even That I Miss the Birth
Because birth can move quickly, there may be times I am not notified in time to arrive before delivery. In these cases:
- If I was not notified promptly, the deposit remains non-refundable.
- If you notified me in time and I was unavailable due to emergency or illness, you may choose either a full refund, OR a credit toward a future session.
Cancellations
- If you cancel before 37 weeks, your deposit is non-refundable but any additional payments will be refunded.
- If you cancel after 37 weeks, during the on-call period, no refunds are given.
